First Campus

The Welsh Assembly Government's Learning Country recognised a phenomenon of key stage three under achievement in secondary schools. These results have to be viewed as disappointing when compared with earlier key stage two performance by the same pupils when they were in the primary sector. Congress TV looks at the work of the South East Wales Reaching Wider Partnership, known as First Campus, in raising the aspirations of ten to sixteen year olds to enter higher education.
